  • Camp Tobago is a one-day leadership programme for young men and women in Tobago. Camp Tobago seeks to build confidence, introduce role models working in trades, industries, agriculure, and tourism across Tobago.

    Applications will be available in April. Participation is Free of Charge. Meals and Supplies will be provided at no charge during the day. Transportation kindly provided by the THA.

  • A pilot one day programme is on-stream for Summer 2026. Thereafter, Camp Tobago will operate programmes across Tobago annually. Your school will let you know when the Application process opens.

  • Camp Tobago is grateful to the THA for providing support island wide. In consultation with Chief Secretary Farley Augustine, facilities in Castara, Speyside, and Scarborough will give us the ability to invite participants from schools across our island. The THA has kindly offered to provide transportation to every student.

  • Here’s a secret (sort of) quiet or shy people all have a strength. Maybe you know what yours is. Maybe you don’t. Please apply.

    Our Leadership Partners - are looking for people like you. They will share their challenges and their dreams.

    They’ll tell you how many times they fell, or were knocked DOWN and how they picked themselves UP.

    You’ll hear about the (sometimes) well-meaning folks who told them to forget it.

    They’ll tell you what they did when EVERYTHING seemed against them.

    It does take COURAGE and SELF CONFIDENCE. But most of all, it helps to know you are not ALONE even when it seems that you are.

    If you are shy - do not worry - sometimes the quietest and least expected person is the most remarkable.

    • Camp Tobago continues…. With Follow Up sessions on career goals, resume writing workshops… and more.

    • Camp Tobago continues… Join us at a local hotel and learn what you need to succeed in the Tourism Industry. See Tourism in Action.

    • Camp Tobago continues… Take a Field Trip to the THA. Meetings with our elected representatives. Tell them your thoughts about what you want for Tobago.

    • Camp Tobago continues…Annual Camp Tobago Reunion.

    • Camp Tobago continues… return at age sixteen for your internship and paid stipend. We missed you!

  • Mission & Goals 

    Camp Tobago is dedicated to helping create Future Leaders for our island of Tobago.

    Camp Tobago Will:

    • Launch a valuable summer camp programme revolving around Tobago that starts small and grows every year.

    • Create a space for belonging and contributing to our Tobago Community.

    • Encourage & strengthen ties and commitment to our island.

    • Instill lasting self-confidence for success in future learning & social settings.

    • Introduce 12 and 13 year-old Tobagonians to the issues we face in Tobago through team-building discussions on how they would make our island better for everyone who lives and visits us.

    • Bring opportunities for Tobago Youth to join our Camp Tobago Team for the two-week paid training, implementation, and launch. Providing a valuable resume entry.

    • Establish a channel for the Tobago Diaspora to give back to Tobago and attend the program as role models and meet our future leaders. (To also encourage them to return home and invest in the future of our country.)

    • Create a forum for local and overseas leadership mentors to meet our young people and answer questions about how they found professional and personal success and fulfillment.

    • Provide information & knowledge on free resources for succeeding in trade and hospitality professions and free resources for university applications and accessing financial assistance.

    • Give thanks for the privilege of being a Tobagonian!
